This week, Coaches Nick and Josh recorded a "Coach's Corner" about PASSION... the fire that burns within! 14 years ago, Josh was cut from a 2nd collegiate baseball program and his identity was shaken to its core. He was a baseball player - it was who he was - it was how he identified myself - it was where his value came from! After being told by a 2nd coach he wasn't good enough, something happened.... We have days where the fire rages and days where it gets reduced to a light flicker. That’s life. We all have ups and downs because others are living their lives in our vicinity – it’s not possible to control all our circumstances. Our responsibility is to manage the fire when it’s raging by staying within our means… and compassionately tending to the embers when circumstances overwhelm us. This week’s #truthseekers Coach’s Corner centers around real life experiences and applications for how to manage the fire when it’s running low or when others try to steal our flame… Coach Josh talks about his experience getting cut from 2 collegiate baseball programs before earning All-Region honors the following year. Check out our full conversation to hear about an even bigger lesson he walked away with…
Tim Dodd is a successful entrepreneur with over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience and the founder of PEMA. PEMA is a lead generation company that will actually warm your leads up for you as well as provide sales support to your entire organization. PEMA is the number one agency for getting warm leads and dream clients. Tim’s success was not overnight, he has been coming up and executing many businesses throughout his life, from a car detailing company, a piercing company in his teenage years, and more. One of his greatest accomplishments was landing over 240 clients in the first 18 months of PEMA. The success of PEMA also led him to develop the 7Touch warmup Lead Warmup system, which is a revolutionary system that will pre-warm all of your leads so they are “Ready-To-Buy” before your call. Get more info here: https://lnkd.in/ecAPsfGFind him on Instagram: https://lnkd.in/ew72zsAFind him on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mrtimdodd/ Massive action is the cure-all! "Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm" is a great quote from Winston Churchill that embodies our conversation with #truthseekers guest Tim Dodd. "I learned lots of ways not to build a company," says Tim. It's a principle we've heard over and over again. You need information to become successful. How do you get information? By DOING! Even if it means failing. Tim has started a number of companies, gaining valuable lessons along the way. His hardest lesson perhaps came when he stopped doing the things that made him successful when he started earning $6,000 per week. In the matter of 2 weeks, he lost it all to the point of not knowing how he was going to pay his rent! Now he runs a thriving company, PEMA, with a culture that attracts top talent. Tim shares stories about his life lessons culminating into where he is today - we hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
Peep Laja is a former champion of optimization and experimentation turned business builder. Goal-oriented individuals succeed more frequently because they know where they’re going. It’s that simple. Sean first heard this concept on an audio book called The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. Widely recognized as one of the greatest motivational books of all time, this audiobook would serve as the inspiration for Sean to establish his own company, EcoTwist Clean. Prior to developing EcoTwist, Sean served as Category Manager for Harris Teeter for 25+ years, with much of that time focused on the laundry detergent space. Sean recognized that many brands offered products without all the harmful chemicals, but they didn’t actually clean the clothes. Sean set out to change that. He developed a laundry detergent that not only cleans and gets rid of nasty odors, but does so without all of the toxic ingredients. Sean also developed a propriety formula for how he runs his business. Under his leadership, EcoTwist Clean places an intentional focus on people, not profits. “People were my motivation to start EcoTwist Clean,” Sean said. “To me, the center of every business is the people behind it. At EcoTwist Clean, we embrace our team members, help them, encourage them, and reward them. We challenge and push people to grow professionally and we empower them to grow mentally.” Keeping people at the forefront, EcoTwist Clean also strives to support the local community through charitable giving. Our conversation this week features guest-host Coach Matt Drinkhahn! We hope you enjoy our conversation with Sean Stanley as much as we did!

#truthseekers Coach's Corner - EXECUTION We can create our own clarity! What a beautiful realization. Just decide. As we wrap up January's topic of EXECUTION with this week's Coach's Corner, we came to the realization that if complexity is the enemy of execution, then clarity rules the roost. And we can create clarity instead of waiting for it - what a blessing! Procrastination comes from waiting for all conditions to be right before taking action. To beat procrastination, all you have to do is look in the mirror and decide you are going to take action... even if it isn't perfect. Progressive execution = achievement. But it has to start with a decision to take action. In order to accomplish things you haven't accomplished before, you must take actions you haven't taken before. And if this is uncomfortable... good! This is growth... personal development!
