Reduce it to the ridiculous! If complexity is the enemy of execution, simplicity is execution's best friend. Example: I want more clients. Actions I THINK I need to take: call 10 prospects per day. New clarity after calling 40 prospects over a time period of 1 month: I don't have any clients. New actions: I need to call 20 people per day. I need to reach out to 2 Centers of Influence (COI's) per week. New clarity: after calling 80 propsects and contact 8 COI's over a time period of 1 month, I have 6 clients! It starts with a commitment to taking action! Even though that initial action didn't close new clients, it took us to a place where we identified the proper actions to do so. Commit. Act. Execute.
Beth Crosby grew up ashamed. She judged herself harshly and never measured up. Now she understands that judgment came from self and not from others. Considering her challenges and experiences, she's learned that her story is her STRENGTH! Authentically sharing her story invites others to feel comfortable sharing their stories too. As a writing coach for women, Beth leads women in mining their lives for stories that shaped who they are. Through #YourStoryIsYourStrength, Beth helps women show how they are uniquely qualified to serve their ideal clients and audience. She helps women select and write stories that can be used in blog posts, LinkedIn posts and articles, and on podcasts. Through sharing stories of vulnerable truth, potential clients get to know them and want to work with them. People work with those they know, like, and trust, and telling your story helps people like you! What is your story?

When we strive to achieve our goals, we must become someone different to achieve them – a higher version of ourselves. We must rise to the occasion and grow into someone new. Our goals are in place to have a fantastic 2021 – now it’s time to execute! This week #truthseekers is joined by Private Wealth Advisor Jim Rice. As Jim says, “satisfaction is expectations realized.” If execution is simply doing the things you said you were going to do (carrying out your plan), haven’t we rigged the game for success?
Luke and Zeke Anderson of 3 Arrows Forge in Charlotte, NC knocked it out of the park with this double-ax project! Josh Greco visited the Anderson Forge to take a few swings and forge these hammer-hawks for a buddy of his, Andrew Piechowicz of Hachets and Hops in Buffalo, NY. It was fun to bring together each’s passion: - Luke’s passion for working on the forge, taking recycled material and forging custom-made axes - Andrew’s passion for providing unique experiences to his guests… by having a unique experience of our own!

ProAdvisorCoach's Josh Greco and Nick Davies sit down to discuss PLANNING for 2021. We are much more likely to achieve our goals by following these simple steps. What would it mean to achieve them? How would achieving them make you feel? How big can you set them? Come up with a plan! GOAL SETTING 1. Write it down! Write down a goal you want to achieve with the specific date you want to achieve it by. Goals should be: S pecific M easurable A ttainable R ealistic T ime-bound 2. Feel it. Envision you already have what you desire. 3. Mark your milestones. If you define what your goal looks and feels like on 12/31/21, where do you need to be 9/30/21, 6/30/21, and 3/31/21? 4. Make it actionable. Now that you have broken down the milestones, what are the actions to take in Q1? Identify no more than the most important 3-5. 5. Track it. Showing up is half the battle. Tracking progress is rewarding and holds us accountable. Execute this plan and achieve your goals. What's worth your time?!
Erin Moody is a writer, podcast host, career coach, student and professor. You could say she has many passions. She believe her ultimate purpose in life is to help people realize they can have the life they have always dreamed of. Whether you want to spend more time with your family, start your own business or reach your highest potential - YOU CAN. Check out more about Erin here: https://www.erinkmoody.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/erinkmoody/ https://www.careerdesigns.net/ The famous philosopher Mike Tyson once said, “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” What rings more true for you, the humor or the wisdom? When our laughter dies down a bit, we are left with the sobering thought that life comes at us fast! You might wonder what is the point of planning if you can’t predict what’s going to happen?!... The counterpoint is that this is THE VERY REASON to plan! If we don’t have a plan, we are living someone else’s plan… and someone else’s plan might be to punch us in the mouth! How many punches can we withstand?! This week, Career Coach Erin Moody of Erin Moody Consulting joins #truthseekers to discuss how having a plan allows us to navigate the unpredictable events life throws at us. If we get knocked down (or punched in the mouth), at least we have something to look up at. Perhaps this is the very thing that motivates us to get up at all… knowing that our story doesn’t end with us on our backs – that’s not the plan we’ve drawn up for ourselves. So what’s your plan? We sit here in early December looking back on the year that was and say ________ about 2020. What PLAN do you need to have in place to sit here this time next year (December 2021) and say what an awesome year I had in 2021!
Coaches Nick Davies and Josh Greco identify their key takeaways from this month's #truthseekers conversation: CONDITIONING.
John Griveas is a veteran, a father, a dog-lover, and an entrepreneur whose daily focus is to be better today than the day before. Find him on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/johngrive... Whatever you are doing, seeing or hearing repeatedly is conditioning you. This is not an off or on situation... As #truthseekers guest John Griveas shares, the only difference is whether or not you are aware. Since conditioning is not just about DOING - it is also seeing and hearing - it is implicit that things outside of ourselves can influence our conditioning. What do you put in your mind first thing in the morning? What do you SEE and HEAR the most through the day? You are either being conditioned to a place you want to go OR a place you don't. Let's think being explicit here... to quote James Clear, "every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become". Awareness creates the space for change. How can we use conditioning to not only move to where we want to be, but get there quicker and with more impact? You might think of conditioning as practice - the more you practice the better you will get. Think of the application to this everywhere. Most people aren't successful at a lot of things - the things they are successful at are always things they have done a lot of. Well conditioned. Practiced. Repeated. Embraced. Choose your conditioning wisely.
